BizSetter charges its transcription services per keystroke. A keystroke is defined as a character with spaces (character + space between characters).  Depending on the complexity of the recording to be transcribed, BizSetter charges $0.0020 - $0.0030 per keystroke.  

 

The set-up for the per-keystroke rates proved itself to be more cost-effective from the point of view of BizSetter's clients.  Rather than per-line or per-page agreement which often end up with incomplete lines and pages, the per-keystroke billing mechanism tends to be more straightforward and transparent. Moreover, the per-hour rates are also tricky since most experienced transcriptionist charges their clients on a five-hour job or more which in reality can be transcribed within an hour or less. 

The transcribed document is placed neatly in Microsoft Word and sent by email to the client. The customer can verify the number of keystrokes done by opening the Microsoft Word document and clicking on File>Properties>Statistics and the "Characters with spaces" are displayed.

Documentation

As a total packaging, BizSetter also has the facility to upgrade the transcription service into a full-fledged documentation project. In this segment, the whole package is done from originally crafted designs and artworks, whenever applicable. This add-on can be factored in the basic Transcription services.
